Classic cars and elegant dress code

There are two things I admire from “ the classics “ - fashion and cars! Yes, I admire classic cars and, as a collector’s wife, I often have a chance to see some astonishing car models with precious history in the show “ Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este “ in Como Lake, in Italy. But, what about the dress code?

Before the pandemic, the month of May was known among classic car lovers for events in fascinating locations as Lake Como in Italy and Monaco. Let’s talk about one of them more closely and discuss the elegant dress code that is required.

“ Passion makes elegance and beauty timeless “

says the official website of The Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este in Cernobbio, Lake Como. It is an amazing event, that offers guests and visitors the opportunity to admire historic cars built between the 1920s and 1980s. It is really like a showcase for vehicles and, additionally, extreme luxury, also fashion models catwalk behind the cars in that time fashion car was built.

Every day the dress code varies from the day time chic to black tie but its never less than fabulous. I selected few of my private pictures to show you the different dress codes.
